We have a fairly large bridal party (7!), so I figured I should start looking for bridesmaid dresses sooner than later. I was debating between blush pink or gray dresses but I’ve been leaning more towards gray ever since I saw this NYC real wedding by Christian Oth Studio on Style Me Pretty:

The girls and I are planning to make a bridesmaid dress shopping day next month but it’s probably going to be difficult finding a place that allows 7 bridesmaids at one time. The maximum per appointment is usually 4-5 including the bride. The best thing to do is start looking for style ideas online before visiting a store –  Dessy, Weddington Way, Watters, Alfred Angelo and plenty of other sites. I was originally eyeing this cocktail length Lela Rose bridesmaid dress with guipure lace bodice and so I stopped by Lelite in Boston to see it in person before bringing an entourage of girls with me.

Unfortunately, they didn’t have that particular sample dress but the sales associate was super nice and helped me find something similar that I’ve also fallen in love with!

They’re all so pretty! So pink is still definitely a contender. We’ll see how it goes next month when the girls actually try some one. Wish us luck!!!
